Storm Dive vs Voyage
Two ways onto Sophie — pick the mode that matches your goal: high-stakes PvP extractions or low-pressure farming.
Storm Dive
Timed competitive raids with rotating extraction sites. Loot tiers improve as the match progresses — late extractions near the Dreadnought and radio towers hold the best rolls. Expect PvP around every high-value POI.
- Best for crown runs, black boxes and keyed vault chains.
- Extraction windows are limited — plan your route early.
- Losses are expensive; don't queue broke.
Voyage
Open-world Sophie without the Storm Dive clock. Safer for learning landmarks, digging buried treasure and refilling scrap after a wipe. Less contested POIs, but also fewer jackpot extractions.
- Best for bankruptcy recovery and map knowledge.
- Buried treasure and resource crates are reliable scrap sources.
- Lower PvP pressure — still not safe, just slower-paced.
When to switch
Run Voyage until you can afford to lose a Storm Dive loadout. Once your wallet and build are stable, alternate — farm in Voyage, push high-tier extractions in Storm Dive. See extraction rules for what actually returns to the station.
